Hello
I think the ACL are correct in Joomla and Norrcompetition, but anyone connected with a (supposed) good access level has an error message when he try to add an entry :
" Error. You do not have permission to submit an entry."
The user group has the permission to create a content.

I read several times the ACL and NorrCompetition tutorials concerning this access. No result.

Hi Gilbert,
Maybe you've enabled voting rule for registered users and attempting to test this functionality under a user that belongs to the upper level (admin, moderator). This will not work sice you need to set rules for each user group.

Please check permissions for the right user group.

Thanks for your fast answer.
My main ACL parameters :
In Joomla ACL :
Users groups : Manager => sub level : Administrator => Sub level CA
Access level : Members : Manager, Administrator, CA
Menu link : Access level : Members
The user is in the 3 groups/subgroups.
In Noorcompetition :
Manager, Administrator, CA : Allowed to create (Green)
Except Administrator : Allowed (red) because blocked. I don't know why.

Hi Gilbert,

Well, I need to have a look at the options.
Please send credentials to access your site:

1. Administrator (need to see the configuration)
2. Test user to examine the issue during submitting the entry on the front-end
3. Submit entry URL for quick access to this section.

You can use Confidential tag in forum reply or send credentials at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hi Gilbert,

Another option without providing us the access is your Permissions on the screenshots. It is hard to analyze permissions without them.

We need a Permissions screen from Joomla ACL, NorrCompetition global Options and also a Permissions screen from the specific contest.

Best regards,
Dmitry

A few screen shots.
If it's not enough, I will give you access to the site admin.

As I can see on the screens if user is in the group for example "Conseil d'administration" you should have access to add entry as it has full access. Let me replicate your permissions settings on our test site to ensure that it working as expected.

I cannot replicate it.
I have created "Registered L3" group then made "Allowed" in NorrCompetition options for all Create permissions. User under this group can submit entry.

Please send us access.
