ACL problem : impossible to add an entry was created by Gilbert Madec
Hello.
I checked (and re-re-checked) the ACLs but I can't solved this problem : Connected in frontend, the super-user can add an entry in any contest, but nobody else.
I enabled the level access of the registered users, for several users groups, in the menu link, and in Norrcompetition (permissions in general and  in the contest) but none of them can add an entry.
At first, I didn't see the selector "Active" for each contest (previous post), but even with the contes active, only the super-user can add an entry.

I need help to make this component working.

Hi,
I think the problem is you did not set up rules for create entry.
Have a look at the screenshot:
 
It is not enough to allow "Create", you need to specify the rules below.

To specify which rules ?
The users are allowed to create an entry, but they can't.

Create is a root rule, but you need to enable any or all child rules:

Create Before Contest Start
Create After Contest Start
Create After Vote Start

It depends on your strategy.

OK, but if our strategy is to allow to create an entry only during the contest period, the ACLs are correct, but the user can't do it.

Lastminute : I think I found the reason of this blockage : I need to enable "Create after vote start", as the site manager had started the votes.

So, problem solved ...I think...
