admin roles and Shortcodes

Hi,

I have just tried to install the shortcodes plugin into our Pagekit website.
We have different administrator roles in Pagekit, and it occurred to me that only a user with ALL rights in Pagekit usermanangement is able to create shortcodes.
It seems that the plugin does not take into account that there could be different userroles?

We have a technical manager role, who can install themes/plugins, manage settings, everything except user-management, and he should be able to create shortcodes as well. Instead, he is not, cause the plugin requires ALL rights?

Also: de plugin icon is always visible in the dashboard menu, whether the admin user has enough rights or not?

is that something you could consider changing in a future update?

Kind regards,
Corine

Hello Corine,

Thank you for your feedback and feature request. In current version, there is no such option to set up permissions.
We will return to this question soon and consider its implementation to a new version of PKB Short Codes.
