Joomla Content Media Manager redirect to Quantum Manager

Hello,

Very nice and flexible extensión for the multimedia management for Joomla, however, I cannot make it to work when I open the Administrator -> Content -> Multimedia. It opens the Joomla default multimedia manager, not the new quantum.

If I go to components -> Quantum Manager or I click on the articles editor Image button it opens the quantum manager.

I'm not sure if it should open the Quantum Manager when I open the default Joomla media manager, but it would nice if it could be set at the options.

I have all quantum plugins enabled.

I made a quick hack to solve the situation, but I don't like this unless the developer adds my code lines to a new version. As I will loose my code if I update the component when you release a new version. See screenshots attached.

The file modified is: /plugins/system/quantummanagermedia/quantummanagermedia.php, function onAfterRoute(), add the followinf after line 64:

elseif ($app->input->get('option') == 'com_media')
            {
                $data = $app->input->getArray();
                $data['option'] = 'com_quantummanager';
                $data['view'] = 'quantummanager';
                $app->redirect('index.php?' . http_build_query($data));
            }

Hi.

The plugin Redirect Media should do this normally. See the code of it:
plugins/system/quantummanagercommedia/quantummanagercommedia.php

public function onAfterRoute()
{
	$app = Factory::getApplication();

	if ($app->isClient('administrator'))
	{
		$option = $app->input->get('option');
		$view = $app->input->get('view', '');
		$layout = $app->input->get('layout', '');

		if ($option === 'com_media' && empty($view) && empty($layout))
		{
			$params = ComponentHelper::getParams('com_quantummanager');
			$data = $app->input->getArray();
			$data['option'] = 'com_quantummanager';
			$data['view'] = 'quantummanager';
			$app->redirect('index.php?' . http_build_query($data));
		}
	}
}

So there is something wrong on your site (not sure what can cause it), because I have several sites and this redirect working perfectly.

Dmitry

I don't see that plugin installed on my site. I just reinstalled the pkg_quantummanager and it does not come with it. Let me redownload it and reinstall it. This is what is inside the package:

Nothing about quantummanagercommedia

OK, there were some issues with this plugin on some websites, so we decided to remove it from the package. But you can download it from the GitHub github.com/Delo-Design/quantummanagercommedia

Excelent. Thank you. I just installed it, together with the plg_quantummanagermedia to override my code with default plugin. Nice one.

BTW: We use K2, do you think it would be possible to redirect the calls to the K2 media manager with the quantum manager in the same way it does with default joomla media manager?

Well it should work just adding one more url to check, like index?php&option=com_k2&something=something
